Apparently the only thing that I am going to be writing about is my weekends! Friday we started our scuba class! I will admit I wasn't that excited at first because for the next 5 Fridays Scuba West is where I will be Friday nights from 6 to 10. However, it was really fun! We were in the class for two hours but then we were in the pool for the other two! It was way fun! We practiced some different skills, but then got to just swim around and play! When we got done with class some people had rented out the Sportsplex and were going to play soccer. Now soccer is not my sport, and I had a test Saturday so I stayed home to study! Well let's just say I fell asleep on the floor (which I never do) and on my stomach (which I never do)!!! But man it was so comfortable!
Saturday I took my astrology tests (bombed it). Then me Kiah, and Tom went bowling in Salt Lake. We met up with Jeff and Missy. They had tom's nieces and some of his cousins! It was a little out of control but it was pretty fun! No worries I broke one hundred both times and that is GREAT for me! After bowling we came back to my house made some oreo-banana shakes and hit up the tub it felt good!
Sunday we had a very interesting talk in church. The past two weeks we have been talking about sin and repentance, little did I know what it was leading up to! Sunday was ward conference. So we had sacrament then all the relief society met together in the chapel. They explained that in sacrament they had been leading up to today in wanting to talk about the law of chastity and talking to the bishop. They talked about where the line is and crossing over the line. After I got over the awkwardness of it all, it really was a great lesson. It made you very great full for the gospel and the tender mercies of the Lord. I am so happy that this gospel is so forgiving and no matter how great the mistake you can always be forgiven and come back to the straight and narrow! I guess our bishopric really know what they are doing after all! ;) Back to school tomorrow hopefully this will be the week that I get back into the school-mode!
